LEGOLAND Japan Resort in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, will celebrate the holiday season with “LEGOLAND Merry Christmas 2026” from November 20 to December 25, 2026. Families can enjoy interactive Christmas illuminations, a park-wide puzzle hunt, festive stage performances, special LEGO Minifigure trading, and colorful holiday photo spots. The event is designed especially for children, with plenty of opportunities to explore, build, play, and create Christmas memories together.
Among the highlights are two interactive illumination experiences. At “Negai no Ishi” (Wishing Stone) in LEGO City, children can gently press a magical jewel to trigger changes in light and sound. Another experience, “Hikari no Oto” (Sounds of Light), brings an imaginative world of glowing colors and sounds to the Knight’s Kingdom area and other locations. Rather than simply admiring the decorations, young visitors can become part of the experience.
The “Happy Holiday Hunt 2026” invites guests to explore different areas of the park and solve a series of puzzles. Participants receive a puzzle sheet at the entrance, and those who successfully complete the hunt receive a commemorative sticker. Families who bring their own LEGO Minifigures can also take part in a special holiday trading activity, exchanging a figure for a Christmas-exclusive one. Both the puzzle hunt and the available trading figures change midway through the event: the first period runs from November 20 to December 5, while the second runs from December 6 to 25.
Live entertainment adds to the festive atmosphere. Santa Claus, the Gingerbread Man, and the park’s new reindeer-loving girl character, Noel, will appear in a cheerful Christmas stage show. Other attractions include a giant Christmas wreath, a Christmas tree built from approximately 610,000 LEGO DUPLO bricks, and a large brick-building pool where children can create their own gift boxes. Seasonal food, sweets, and warm drinks will also be offered, with details to be announced by the park.
LEGOLAND Japan is located near Kinjo-futo Station, approximately 25 minutes from central Nagoya by train and another 10 minutes on foot. Park admission is required, and ticket prices vary depending on the date of visit. Families visiting from overseas should check the official operating calendar and show schedule in advance, and bring a LEGO Minifigure if they wish to participate in the special trading activity.
